relatively easy to assemble, easy to operate. Instructions are online and consist of pictures with almost nonexistent text, and were not particularly helpful. Video or increased text would be helpful as would labeling of parts, the pictures were small on my iPad and deciding which of the similar parts to use was the most difficult.

I was concerned after reading several reviews about the difficult assembly, but didn’t find any significant difficulties. It helped to lay out all of the pieces, work on a flat surface and follow the instructions. The drums use dozens of sturdy tabs that lock in place when aligned properly, and sometimes needed a little maneuvering to get them properly aligned. Once assembled it worked well, but when loaded it can be heavy and need some effort to rotate, so be sure you have it where you’ll want to keep it before loading. It is nice to have two separate compartments so one can be active while the other is available for fresh materials.

My name is Nicole, I like growing plants, composting and my cat. Okay, now back to the product. I just assembled the dual chamber. I’ve read a lot of the reviews saying it was hard to put together and not to buy because of this. COMPLETELY DISAGREE!! I’m not sure how the other people had trouble. If you follow the instructions step by step, you get a beautiful composter in Max half hour. Im no rocket scientist but that sh*t easy! I can’t speak for the use of the composter but I’m super excited to get started.
